- Can I book sightseeing tours and activities through Interrail.eu?
- Do I have to use travel days to travel in my country of residence with an Interrail Global Pass?
- Can I travel back and forth between countries with my Interrail Global Pass?
Yes, you can! With your Interrail Pass you can travel freely within and between countries, with the exception of your own country, where you can only travel on one outbound journey and one inbound journey.
- What is the travel diary?
Holders of an Interrail Pass receive a travel diary along with their pass. The travel diary is the section of your pass cover where you need to enter your personal details as well as the journey details of each train and free bus or ferry you take. Remember to fill in the journey details section before boarding each train or free bus or ferry. Train staff will check that the details are correct during your journey. If you forget to fill in the information before boarding the train, you could get a fine!

- How does the 7 p.m. rule work?
It’s very useful to know about the 7 p.m. rule if you have a flexi pass (e.g. Global Pass - 10 days within 1 month) as it can save you precious travel days. The rule means that you only need to use 1 travel day when travelling on trains that depart after 7 p.m. (19:00) and arrive at their final stop after 4 a.m. (04:00).
- What is a travel day?
A travel day lasts 24 hours from midnight to midnight. On each travel day you have access to the train networks where your Interrail Pass is valid.
- What should I do if there's no room left in my travel diary?
If there's no room left in your travel diary you can download and print out additional travel diary pages. Use the pages to record your journey details just like you did in your original travel diary. Be ready to show your additional travel diary pages to the train conductor.

- How do I fill in the travel calendar?
When you have a flexi pass with a specific number of travel days e.g. a Global Pass - 10 days within 1 month, you'll need to fill in the date on the travel calendar on your Interrail pass before boarding the first train, free bus or free ferry of each day. Decide on-the-go when you use each travel day.
- Why haven't I received my gift after sending my pass back to you?
Due to the many requests, it can take over 3 months for your gift to arrive. If it's been longer than 3 months you can send an email to firstname.lastname@example.org with your full name and address, and when you sent your pass cover back to us. - What is a "continuous" pass?
The Interrail Pass is available with different numbers of travel days. With a continuous pass, every day is a potential travel day. In contrast, a flexi pass has a fixed number of travel days to use whenever you want while your pass is valid.
A continuous pass lets you travel by train on every single day that your pass is valid. This pass gives you the freedom of train travel whenever you want and is the best way to see the most of Europe. For example, if your pass is valid from 1 September to 22 September, you can travel by train on each of these days, if you want to.
The Interrail Global Pass is available as a continuous pass with 15 days, 22 days or 1 month of train travel.
